G2: The Shadow Remains.

Hey, it could happen.  Those people at PETA are crazy.  I wonder how they’d feel about a zombie squirrel.

As you may know, this is not Fuzz’s first encounter with the infamous Punxsutawney Phil.

And, of course, that bastard saw his shadow today.  More winter.  Yay.

Definitely time to get rid of the rodent. I read an article today about Phil (and his similarly named predecessors) that over the past 120 years, “Phil” saw his shadow 100 times, and the records for 10 years are missing. So for the past 120 years, he has NOT seen his shadow 10 times that we know of. We need a better rodent. How about it the blind naked mole rat sees his shadow? I say we petition congress on this one.

I heard that it’s been the SAME groundhog and he just drinks an elixir every seven years or so… Or maybe PETA really did replace him with a robot. Either way, I’m tired of the perpetual bad bews.

I think that if the government has given Phil an elixir every 7 years, they need to share with us. That would actually be a good idea for a comic.

“Fuzz and Nuts find the stash of life elixirs.” YEA! If you make a comic on that, make sure to thank me.

Why is Phil in the North Pole anyways?

It’s not the North Pole. Santa poofed the squirrels “home”, which is a place we have been pretty vague about. I imagine where they live to have pretty much the same seasons I experience here in Kentucky. And we just got a good snow cover this weekend, hence the anger at said groundhog.

But yeah, we should develop their surroundings a lot more, and you can solely place the blame for that on DJ. He writes most of these crap ideas ;)

Oh. I just thought because of Santa it was the North Pole.
